After the easter break...
*sigh* the easter break seems so long ago (it was only 2 weeks ago). But it was good just to stay away from the lab, though not thinking about my project was a completely different matter (I just don't think its possible to not think about it). Watched a lot of TV, and went and saw Meet the Robinsons, which is fun, funny film with a happy ending (yay!) and 300, which is a bit slow (especially with the battle scenes) but there were a few inspirational scenes..."fight for sparta!".
But back from the easter break, its back to the usual routine of doing lab work (that's not working), lab work, demonstrating to my prac class (my students were good yesterday and they managed to be the first group to finish, with the topic I hate, enzyme kinetics, yay!) and trying to write a talk about my project to my lab group, which I have to do in 6 hours...which isn't done yet.
But a highlight of the past couple of weeks had to be seeing the show Miss Saigon. Although I had trouble seeing the right hand side of the stage, I really enjoyed it. And *whispers* I couldn't help but cry at the end, it was so sad...*sigh* when did I become so emotional? - I wasn't like this before... but I think after seeing Miss Saigon, I've realised that I quite enjoy theatre, so I'll be aiming to see "Phantom of the opera" when it starts in Melbourne in June. Or maybe see a university made theatre production, that's still on my to do list...
Anyways, that's in June. Back to that talk I think, but I've got a wedding to go to this weekend, which should be fun (its been a while since I've been to one!). A friend of a friend type wedding, where I barely know the couple getting married!
